I'm the founder of PartnerSignal, a client retention advisory firm that helps B2B service organizations surface risk signals that impact their retention and renewals while there's still time to act on them. I started the firm after watching well-run businesses lose long-tenured accounts they never saw slipping, not for lack of effort, but because no one owned the risk until it had already become a unsavable situation.
That work comes out of 15+ years as an enterprise portfolio and strategic accounts executive across corporate, healthcare, SaaS, and consulting. I've held direct P&L and operational accountability for a large global contract and led retention strategy across portfolios representing up to $250M in annual revenue. Most of that time went to some version of the same problem: stabilizing at-risk accounts, aligning technical and non-technical teams, rebuilding client governance, and converting service delivery performance into financial results.
Where I spend my time now:
· Renewal risk diagnostics and account health scoring
· Client retention strategy for service-intensive portfolios
· Governance design and executive stakeholder alignment
If you're carrying a portfolio where the numbers and KPIs look fine but something feels off, that's usually the right moment to have a conversation about the right retention strategy and if there's any signals being missed; not the quarter before renewal.
